As an artist I knew this, but it is often forgotten, it is a very significant thing somehow, very important. And I heard about some research regarding using the eye for identification and security purposes, heard that yesterday and was already thinking about this permanent life-long reality of the eye. The eye is a big factor, word wise, in the Hebrew Text of Torah, and so I am considering the two together now.
Jim, I, not being an artist? did not know this. Interesting though...tell us about the eye in the Torah or let us know when you have a post on it.
