It is better to travel well
than to arrive.

"Philosophy" begins with .... you and me ... plain and simple. Are you ready to join in? Are you ready to help? Tell me what you think and TOGETHER, we can....

lovely quote..
The path or the way, not the destination or goal.
What you think is what matters. Not debatable.
Rambler, ylthough well known, its still rings true!
Sieg, I disagree with ya...what you think does matter but its not all that matters. We cannot always control what thoughts enter our mind, so we cannot always control what we think. The only thing we can control, though not always easy to do, is the way we respond to our daily challenges and thoughts ... I think! :)
If you want to create your own reality.
Sieg,...but in many ways, we do create our own reality. Is the cup half full or is it half empty?...is a good example...
I see the world in a different way than some of my friends see the same world. My reality is different than their reality although we see the same "thing" ....my reality as I see it....
The reality, for me, is the body and what I do with it, what I do with it is the mind, and there are a lot of influences pressing upon it, so the journey is there, and the body suffers the travel, or not, and I don't think there is any such thing as arrival.
Just some thoughts.
Jim, I think we arrive...every day but it is not the end of the journey.
